City of Ely Bowls Club
As a member of City of Ely Bowls Club, David Pleasance (one of our IT Gurus) and 15 of the top club players have made it through to the last eight of the Denny Cup. This is the FA Cup of the bowling world with over 250 clubs competing. The Ely team includes some of the top players in the world. With a comfortable 86-67 win over Essex County in the last round, they are now due to play Egham IBC in the quarter finals on 23rd January, who have been the winners of the tournament in three out of the last four years.
